The Women’s Center at the New Orleans Mission has been completely renovated since Hurricane Katrina thanks to HomeAid and Ameriquest Mortgage.

Transitional Work Program
Women with full-time employment receive lodging and food at the New Orleans Mission for up to four months while they regain their footing. Participants are required to save 70 percent of their income to afford permanent housing upon finishing their four-month term. This supportive program provides a safe environment for women who are working toward stability.

Overnight Shelter
The Mission provides shelter, meals and clothing on an emergency basis for women in crisis. Intake begins at 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and at 8 p.m. Friday-Sunday.
